Prime testers in Scotland

The first testing process of the programme started in Stirling during the last term of the academic year and involved a group of boys aged 15-16. All of them were young people who were due to complete their final term of compulsory education in the near future and they had the option of leaving school. They did not have any clear plans for further study or employment. They were from the same year group at school, but their learning achievements and capabilities varied greatly. They were not particularly good at listening to each other, their powers of concentration were rather weak and they did not like remaining sedentary for any length of time.

In order to give the young people a different experience from the school environment, the Scottish partners tried to find a place for the activities that would not remind the learners of their school environment. A local enterprise company provided them with suitable business accommodation in order to promote RLG programme.

After analysing the results, details of the trial programme will be published in the Scottish submenu of Testing Process.
