Twin-conference in Cracow

The Pedagogical University of Cracow held its traditional twin-conference between 5 and 6 October 2015. The 12th international scientific conference entitled “Entrepreneurship as a Factor in the Development of Local Systems” and the 8th conference entitled “Conference on Entrepreneurship Teachers” were organized this autumn in Poland.

This conference aimed at presenting the most up-date research results and sharing and discussing vocational experiences on the development of entrepreneurship. Besides economic development, the conference focused from the beginning on educational issues. This subject was the inspiration for holding the first conference with entrepreneurship teachers eight years ago, in order to share experiences of methods and practice on entrepreneurship and economics at each level of education.

Forty nine presentations from 25 research centres were delivered, including five participants from foreign research institutions. Two presentations, which were connected with the RLG project, were delivered by our project partners – Sławomir Kurek, Wiktor Osuch, Tomasz Rachwał, Wioletta Kilar and Agnieszka Świętek. One presentation focused on the concepts and frames of assessing entrepreneurial attitudes and the other one informed the participants about the competencies of the RLG program by holding a teacher workshop.

There were 95 experts who took part in the conference and 246 university students.
